Provides Outstanding Protection and High Biodegradability
Some hydraulic applications require use of highly biodegradable hydraulic oil due to government regulations or environmental concerns. Vegetable-based biodegradable oils, however, often provide good biodegradability but compromise performance in other areas. We designed AMSOIL Synthetic Biodegradable Hydraulic Oil to offer the best of both worlds. Its synthetic formulation delivers the ideal combination of excellent biodegradability and wear protection for mobile and stationary hydraulic applications.
Maximum Protection
AMSOIL Biodegradable Hydraulic Oil provides excellent wear protection for hydraulic pumps and motors. It maximizes component life to help reduce time and money spent on maintenance.
Reduces Environmental Impact
The AMSOIL Biodegradable Hydraulic Oil is readily biodegradable, with an environmental persistence classification of Pw1, the fastest and highest level of biodegradation. It helps reduce environmental harm in the event of leaks or minor spills.
Synthetic Biodegradable Hydraulic Oil ISO 46
• Resists oxidation for long oil life
• Guards against wear
• Helps reduce harm to the environment
Applications
Use AMSOIL Biodegradable Synthetic Hydraulic Oil as a replacement for most synthetic and conventional hydraulic fluids in stationary and mobile applications using gear, vane and piston hydraulic systems operating under high pressure and high temperatures. Typical applications include construction, logging and farming equipment, lawn and turf care or anywhere leaking, spills or ruptured hydraulic lines may present an environmental hazard. Use in applications that require any of the following specifications:
• Pw1 Ultimate Biodegradability (ASTM D5864)
• OECD 301B Readily Biodegradable
• Vessel General Permit (VGM) Compliant
• EN 16807: European Standard
